The Welfare Fund of Maritime Transport “MORTRANS” has been working successfully for 20 years now, assisting people in difficult situations. We can safely assert that thanks to joint efforts, experience and professionalism, the Welfare Fund “MORTRANS” always achieves its goals, and our work is always performance-based. .

Our goal

The Welfare Fund «MORTRANS» renders charitable assistance to the following categories of recipients:

maritime transport workers;
seafarers and their families;
retired seafarers;
students of marine educational institutions;
foreign seafarers working on ships under ITF contracts that are members of the ITF affiliated trade unions.

Dear friends!

Today we all are indeed living in a challenging time, and thus, support and helping hand are so important for each one of us. Sometimes it's just a word of understanding and faith in us, but often trouble bursts into a human life and cannot be handled alone. If you think of it, because the desire to help one's neighbour – is a state of mind that lives inside of us.
Establishing the Welfare Fund of Maritime Transport “MORTRANS”, our team of like-minded professionals was sure that everyone is capable to do good. And throughout all these years we have been confident in the correctness of the chosen path. Over these years we have been close to many people, who were desperate to find a way out of difficult situations. We have been doing and continue to do everything possible to restore people's hope: we constantly provide psychological, moral, financial assistance to those who are left alone with their troubles.
